The odds are stacked against young people who’ve experienced foster care, but with the right support, they can and do thrive.

Fewer than 8% of youth who’ve experienced foster care graduate from college. Many experience housing instability. All have experienced trauma. Most have had to move forward without a consistent adult to count on. The system wasn’t built for them to win. At Foster Progress, we see resilience every day. Students who’ve been counted out step up, persist, and graduate. With a supportive community that shows up, they rise against all odds.
